Interpersonal Skills Training

There is one common denominator for all competencies that Gameplan covers, from sales training and leadership training, to management training and communication skills; all involve influencing other people to take action. An essential aspect for the ability to influence other people in any context, is through interpersonal skills development.

Interpersonal skills development is key because it requires two different but supporting aspects. Firstly, one must understand how as individuals we influence other people, which we do in a variety of ways and can be in both positive and negative forms. Secondly, to the first point, interpersonal skills development includes having an awareness of the impact one is having on another person at any point in time.

One cannot be effective at influencing others without having a high level of self-awareness, and this comes through interpersonal skills development.
